Whereas raw coffee can be stored for years, roasted coffee will loses its aroma in two weeks at the latest, if stored improperly. If it is ground, it loses its unique aroma within in few days. For proper extraction, it is essential to grind coffee properly. It is ideal to use freshly ground coffee for the perfect taste. Each coffee brewing method requires a different grind size:
French Press -coarse grind
Drip coffee makers (paper, plastic, metal filter) – medium grind
Espresso machines, espresso stove top makers – fine grind
Greek/ Cyprus coffee – extra fine/powdered grind.
The dosage determines the strength, taste and beneficial quality of the coffee. For one cup of coffee take 6-8g of ground coffee

Improperly stored tea may lose flavor, acquire disagreeable flavors or odours from other foods, or become mouldy.
There are four things tea doesn’t like. They are: light, air, moisture, and heat. So it is best to put tea in an airtight container and store them in a dry and cool cabinet.
Properly stored tea may stay fresh up to several months and even years.
